Ankara Dissemination Event
Second dissemination activity of the project has conducted in Ankara under the leadership of the UOFD and KIO. The number of the participants exceed the expected target groups. Produced VR games were tested by more than 30 people with disability. Total 86 participants from different 40 organizations participated in the event. Participants from different cities guided by KIO and BAU. In addition to the coordinator UOFD, representatives of KIO and BAU participated to share experience and present good practices.
The target was predominantly decision-makers, families, teachers, public institutions. A good description of the intellectual outputs facilitated the inclusion of the project outputs in strategy documents prepared by the public authority. Ministry of Family and Social Policy General Directorate for Disabled and Elderly Services, Youth General Directorate, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Disability Unit, YÖK Disabled Counseling and Coordination Center, TKHK Disability Service was invited. From the GATA, Police Academy experts from ministries, municipalities, acedemicians from universities, NGO representatives took place.
Outputs introduced, the panel with training participants held, thanks to expert Mr. Bilal Balcı from Turkish National Agency shared info about the Erasmus + program and opportunities for youth and answer the questions from the participants, business director of the GFDS (advanced VR company in ODTÜ Teknokent) shared recent developments in VR area.
Within the event, as promotion material, downloadable games and VR glasses were distributed to participants as well as the certificate.
